Here at St James' we are lucky to be surrounded by the beautiful green backdrop of the Malvern hills. We pride ourselves on using every opportunity to take our learning outside. We have a dedicated forest school site including a fire pit and willow sculpture. We also have access to the hills in which our school nestles into.
We know that our children love to learn outdoors and toasting marshmallows on the fire pit is an added bonus!

Week 22nd March 21
This week at forest school the children have been gathering different materials that we will be using as part of our DT projects. In our topic in Class One, the children have been designing houses for the 3 little pigs. We will then be building our houses during an extra-long forest school session next Wednesday. The children also got the opportunity to explore the forest school by writing in the mud, making streams, and enjoying a nice cup of hot chocolate.
