Welcome to class 3. All the children have come back to school very smart and ready to learn.

Here are a few reminders; Swimming will take place on a Monday and PE on a Friday, so please ensure children have the right kits in school. Children will read daily at school and should bring in their reading book and Home liaison book. We will be having spelling quizzes and times table tests and every Friday children should either bring home Spelling homework or Maths activities which will support their learning in school.

Our theme this term will involve exploring what it was like to be living in the Stone Age. Were they savage or smart? We will inform you of any school trips in due course. Any research done at home on the topic will be warmly received at school. We will be working with class 4 on this later on in the term.

We will be continuing to have WOW plate assemblies on a Wednesday and Celebration assemblies on a Friday usually in church. We really appreciate your support. Please remember that in Key Stage 2 children bring a fruit snack to have mid-morning at school. It is also important that all children bring a water bottle.
