Dear Parents/carers,

                   Welcome to Class 3.  Here’s hoping you had a great summer and are ready for the new term.

    Children will begin swimming on Mondays and need a swimming costume, towel and goggles in a named bag. PE and outdoor learning will take place on Thursdays and children will need PE kit and trainers and wellies in school on those days.

Please can children bring a piece of fruit or vegetable for a snack in the mornings and a bottle of drink which must come into the classroom each day. Can I also remind you that home liaison books and reading books should be brought into school every day and please try to encourage your child to read and record when they have read themselves.

   Our theme will be “Come Design with Me” and will involve both collaborative work and an individual design project.

   Spellings will be sent home on a Friday - based around misspelt words, some spelling pattern words and words on the Yr 3/4 spelling list. Please bring spelling book back on Mondays. We will have a quiz  on a Friday. Other research-type homework will also come home on a Friday.
