Class 3

Welcome back. The Summer term is here! First of all, thank you for all who came to our Fair trade afternoon. We are still waiting to hear back from Waitrose!

Our theme this term is Go Create and we will be beginning by finding out about artists and musicians or in fact anyone who has created something significant. Afterwards we will be creating our own pieces of art, songs or inventions! Watch this space!

We have a busy term learning about animals in Science, and our text is Charlotte`s Web in Literacy and in Maths we will be continuing to use draw, show ,prove and explain mathematical statements and learn to use different methods and strategies to calculate. In RE we will be looking at Hinduism and will be visiting a Temple near Birmingham. PE will happen on Tuesday and Friday so please make sure all children have a kit in school. Spellings will come home on a Friday as usual and I expect spelling books to be returned and kept in school all week please.

Class 3 have made a fantastic start to the term and I have enjoyed hearing about everything they have done in the holiday and I am very proud of the progress they are all making.
