The end of week 2... 3 April 2020
WOW! I honestly don't know where the last week has gone but it does seem to have flown by! I want to start the blog this week by saying another great big thank you and well done for your continued dedication to learning this week. I feel that we have got through the week with less problems on Purple mash and I thoroughly enjoyed teaching Year 6 twice this week. This, I hope, to roll out with Year 5 after the Easter break.
I can't believe how much work we've managed to complete this week. This has included: fractions, decimals and percentages; multiplying and diving; writing stories based off a video; travel brochures; balanced arguments and Haikus to name a few. Thank you again to our fantastic Parents/Carers for supporting the children with these activities as well as trying to get on with the jobs and work that you also need to be doing.
Please keep in touch over Easter with what you're all up to. I've enjoyed seeing pictures of treasure hunts, bakings and seeing videos and they really do cheer my days up! Take a look at our class information areas and the Facebook page for fun ideas of things to do over the holidays. Have a wonderful, restful and safe Easter all and I look forward to being back with you all very soon.
Stay safe, wash those hands and stay home!
