Jelly Babies and Fractions! - 23 March 2020
Dear All,
Alot has happened since I last updated the blog but I wanted to share a few of the activities that the children were doing in the last week of school. They created their own fraction wall, maybe a good idea to try when you're at home. Also, they developed their cooking skills by making stuffed peppers. They all showed great skill in cutting, slicing, dicing and grating. We also made clay tealight holders and cards for Mothering Sunday. Many thanks to Mrs Smith and Mrs Coleman for coming in and teaching us to wash our hands really well! In science, we made food chains and created a PowerPoint Presentation about our knowledge of teeth and the digestive system, they were very impressive! Finally, after much persuasion (not really!) we did the Jelly Baby Challenge. I'll pop the powerpoint in the key information folder in case you fancy trying it at home.
Best Wishes,
Mrs Landon
