Hola from Archie and Libby - 18 October 2019
Hola from Libby and Archie,
We have had an exciting week and yet again we got drenched doing cross-country today!
On Monday, we did our editing session differently and it was chaos! Miss Farnell said we weren’t doing that again. In Literacy, we have begun reading Holes by Louis Sachar. We really love it because it’s exciting and funny. We’ve put a picture of the book cover below – what do you think might happen?
On Tuesday, we did more work on Scratch! This week we learnt how to make a flying spaceship game. Thank you to Kate for coming in and helping us with your expertise.
Yesterday, was a tiny bit chaotic (again) as we had our first Stay and Share. There were more grown-ups than Miss Farnell expected but it was really fun and thank you to all the grown-ups who managed to come. Also yesterday, we said our big goodbyes to Mrs Jackson and Mrs Wright as they’re starting their voyage to Tanzania. Good luck and don’t get eaten by a lion!
As we got soaked again, we thought we should listen to Miss Farnell’s plea and ask you to make sure we all have extra clothes and warm layers for P.E sessions as the weather is very unpredictable.
As you can see below, Greg keeps attacking everyone as he is so big. Thank you so much to Arete for our lovely certificate this week.
Manakin Skywalker update:
Manakin has learnt how to ride Harry the hedgehog this week.
We hope you have enjoyed this!
Adios from Libby and Archie
