End of week 6... - 15 May 2020
I can’t believe another Friday is here, I do very much look forward to our assemblies and I hope you do too.
We did not meet last Friday due to it being VE Day and a bank holiday. It has been lovely to hear what you did with your families over the long weekend. There are many star bakers emerging from Class 3, you do make me hungry sharing photos of your delicious bakes!
This week, we have been working on our times tables, multiplying and dividing, area and perimeter! Wow! Your attitude to learning has been fantastic, well done Class 3.
In English, we have been writing a newspaper report about Pompeii and practising 1st, 2nd and 3rd person within our writing. We’re keeping our spellings going, this week learning about homophones and near homophones.
Well done to all those who completed the hour of coding, I know many of you have really enjoyed your computing this week, keep it up!
As I write this, the online battle between Y3 and Y4 on TTRS continues (it finishes at 3.15pm today) with Y3’s just in the lead but it has been a closely fought contest this week!
Don’t forget to check your emails for communication from me!
Have a lovely weekend, stay safe and keep washing those hands!
Mrs Landon
