End of week 4... - 1 May 2020
What a busy week again in Class 3!
This week our learning looked a little different, to allow our families to work school work into working from home and family routines.
We’re certainly a creative bunch in Class 3. We’ve made Roman bread, built Roman buildings on Minecraft, created models and written whole booklets!
In theme, our big question was, why did the Romans invade Britain? Well done those who answered and shared your learning.
In maths, Y3s have been continuing their fraction learning and problem solving, whilst the Y4s have been learning about decimals and money. You’ve all shown great perseverance with these tasks, well done!
In English, we listened to the story of Escape from Pompeii by Christina Balit, and looked up new vocabulary. We then used our senses to write a descriptive piece of writing. Some of us have described a park (from a video), others the view from their windows/gardens and others a volcano.
Our science this term is all about plants. It’s been great to see the ways children have created and labelled parts of a plant. Please check out our photos.
Well done to all our children and families. Take care, and hopefully we’ll all be back in school soon.
Mrs Landon
