End of week 4 - 1 May 2020
Good morning all! I cannot believe we are in May already - time certainly seems to be flying by and I keep on hoping we will all be back together very soon. Class 4 have had another brilliant week of work this week and I continue to be amazed with the quality of work coming in to me on a daily basis.
We have conducted two virtual lessons in each year group this week where Year 5 have been learning about how to work with up to 3 decimal places and Year 6 have been continuing to work with algebra. A massive well done to all of you for having an amazing attitude around the work set and persevering with those difficult questions.
English this week has consisted of different activities which have included: writing a diary entry, tense work, using parenthesis, reading comprehension and spelling Year 5 and 6 statutory words. The diary entries were amazing and it was lovely to hear the children's humour coming through their writing.
Elsewhere in the children's learning this week, they have created the World map in unusual ways (see pictures below), create rhythms using 2 beat and completed a Science experiment looking at mixing, dissolving and separation.
Keep up the amazing hard work Class 4!
Stay safe and hopefully we will be back together very soon!
