End of week 11... - 26 June 2020
Class 3 have continued their hard work at home and in school.
A small number of children, in the keyworker bubble, have been learning about bees this week. They have written reports, created puppets, made a waggle dance and had a live virtual lesson with a bee keeper (Mr Hanson’s Dad)
At home, the children are completing ‘Mission Impossible’ a Talk for Writing booklet. These worked really well last time and the children created fantastic pieces of writing, so we’re giving another one a go!
In maths, we’ve moved onto angles and money. It was interesting to see the children measuring angles at how and the tuck shops they are running during lockdown.
In theme, we learnt about Roman baths, with some lovely report writing being done.
To finish the week, we had a virtual pet assembly. It was great seeing the children’s dogs, cats, hamsters, chickens and teddies! The children shared what they love about their pets, most saying they love to cuddle them! We had a pet quiz which was enjoyed by all.
All in all, another super (and scorching hot!) week!
Well done Class 3, we’re all so proud of you.
