End of week 10... - 18 June 2020
This week Class 3 have been busy writing list poems and instructions. We have been using the Talk 4 Writing booklet, Journey to the Jungle. The children have used fronted adverbials, adjectives and strong verbs.
We have finished the fractions and decimals unit of learning too. It has felt like a long unit, well done to all the children!
In theme, we have been learning about Roman food. Some children have designed their own Roman menu and hosted a Roman banquet at home!
You may wonder who the people in the photos are. These are some of the residents and manager from a local nursing home, who the children in bubbles in school have written and created pictures for. The residents were delighted to receive them and we look forward to their replies!
In science, we made rainbows to look at how water travels and been on a colour nature walk.
Well done to all those completing learning at home and keeping in touch, it is lovely to see all your efforts!
We also had a slightly chaotic online assembly this week, as the website kept crashing, but we still played bingo and did our show and tell. It is always lovely to see all your faces.
