Cześć from all of us! - 24 January 2020

Cześć from Class Four!

Wow! What an incredibly busy week we’ve had this week! A massive, warm welcome to our new class member, Gabby!

In PE we continued our dance work. We completed our five firework patterns and began to put them to music. During Spanish we have begun to learn the words for animals and we’ve enjoyed playing bingo this week. In computing we learnt how to put text on our webpage and we are very excited because it will definitely be going live so look out for the web link soon.

In English, we have been playing bingo to learn how to use possessive and omissive apostrophes. At the beginning of the week, we continued writing our myths and Mrs Wilson thinks they’re going really well. This week we also learnt how to use a colon accurately by learning the ‘De:De sentence type’.

In art, we were sketching this week. We were sketching peppers that had been cut in half. Mr Hanson taught us for this session and drew an amazing example. During History, we learnt about all of the Mayan Gods and we drew four of them. We learnt about the Gods of rain, sun, Maize and the ultimate creator (Itzmna). Finally, our reading buddy session was really successful this morning we are enjoying getting in our books.

After Josh’s regretful speech during assembly, Mrs Wilson has finally forgiven us and WE WON THE CLASS CUP!

Manakin Update:

Manakin has decided he loves his birthday scarf so he’s carried on wearing it. He had an exciting week meeting the big fat zero!
