Choctastic week! - 13 February 2020
This week, in Class 3, we have been super busy being designers and technologists! We have been analysing different styles of packaging used on chocolate bars, looking at fonts, images, colours and sizes. From this, we did graphic art to investigate styles of writing in our sketch books, this helped us create a name and logo for our chocolate bar. Throughout Wednesday and Thursday, we made our chocolate. Then we made our packaging, and using our maths skills, used different nets to make our boxes which we added our designs too. Finally, we evaluated our packaging. It's been an interesting learning journey.
Also, we enjoyed an energetic session of African Drumming with Purple Josh. It was loud and fun!
In English we have continued learning to write instructional texts and in Maths we have reached the end of our multiplication and division skills lessons, we'll need these skills when we start measuring after half term!
We hope you all have a lovely half term break!
