Busy Start to term 2! - 14 November 2019
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back!
We've hit the ground running in Class 3 and have been learning about life during Anglo-Saxon times during our theme lessons. The overview for this theme is in curriculum documents, where you can also access an electronic version of our new home learning activties. These are in addition to reading, spellings and maths (Times Table Rock Stars). During our theme, we have been weaving and dying fabric using natural dyes and designed an Anglo-Saxon village with natural resources.
In PE, we will be doing gymnastics. The children have made a great start to this, showing good balance and shape.
We were delighted to welcome Ben to school on Monday. He has recently returned from the Rugby World Cup in Japan, where he worked with the Georgian Rugby Team. The children listened well, learnt some Georgian and held his RWC medal. Thank you to Miss Richards for organising this.
As always, if you have any questions, please do get in touch.
Mrs Landon
